Let's Turn Your Island Time Into Something Unforgettable...
With a warm and easy approach, I create space for you to relax, be yourself & let your session unfold naturally. No stiff poses, no pressure... just you, Hawaii, and memories that last long after you leave the island.
Most people are on vacation to relax, not manage logistics. I will help you find the best place and time while bringing together your vision of how you want YOUR photos to look. Whether it's on a dreamy beach for sunset or within the moody low lit rainforest, I'm here to make your vision come alive while capturing your photos.
You're In The Right Place If You're Wanting A Photographer Who:
- Makes you feel comfy in front of the camera
- Helps you find the perfect spot to propose, elope or capture your yearly family vacation
- Communicates upfront about parking details and location tips
- Truly cares about every single photo and edits each selection with patience and care
I'm Nikky Wyand, The Photographer Behind WyandPhoto
Although i'm originally from Virginia, it's been a while since I have called it home. Life has taken me across multiple states (and countries) before settling down in Hawaii.
Like many photographers, I have two jobs. I'm a photographer by day and a flight attendant by night. As a flight attendant I spend a few nights of the month bringing lovely people like you back and forth across the Pacific Ocean to come visit our beautiful island. When I'm not working on an airplane I'm scouting out new locations for my clients or editing photos while cuddling near my two doggies.
In between photo sessions I love to grab a book while relaxing under the palm trees and on a true day off I try my best to be in the ocean. Regardless of where I am, I am always chasing the sunlight looking for secluded locations where I can take photos that truly capture you and Hawaii's natural beauty.
Photography first started as a way to document my personal travels while capturing all the memories I have created around the world. After settling down in Hawaii, and into my career, I felt an urge to share my art by creating beautiful and meaningful images for others, not just myself.
Building my photography business has been my most rewarding adventure and I am so thankful to everyone who has supported me in any capacity.
Choosing The Person Behind The Camera Is A Big Decision
Instead of trying to convince you I’m the right person, let my clients do the speaking, so you can decide for yourself.
